After previously working as a post-primary teacher in London for six years, I moved over to Ireland to pursue my interest in development education and international comparative education. My current research explores the relationship between education and conflict on the island of Ireland. More specifically I am developing a comparative study investigating the perceptions and understandings of young people with regard to conflict in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. In addition to this research, I have recently been involved in the production of a development education tranistion unit, and leading undergraduate tutorials on education related topics.
