CICE is committed to a whole-college approach to development education, through the DICE programme, and to embedding it in its policy, ethos and teaching. In providing a full DE programme to student teachers, we aim to expand the potential for good DE in primary schools. The main DE work is delivered by the DICE lecturer and includes teaching of DE/ICE/ESD to students, support to students in capacity, initiating and supporting relevant programmes (such as Fair Trade College and Green Schools Programme), making available a range of resources, providing a range of relevant "guest speakers" and research.
