I am a researcher, lecturer and international development practitioner.

I facilitate immersion-style visits to HaMakuya, a rural area in the north east of South Africa, for groups interested in engaging Development Education issues such as global inequality, poverty, social justice and environmental sustainability. The immersions are focused on experiential learning gained through living with host families in HaMakuya for a few days. These home-stays are framed with participatory preparatory and de-briefing workshops.
