Christian Aid Ireland seeks Education and Campaigns Officer: Based in Dublin, part-time (25 hours a week), fixed term contract to 31 December 2016.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand and grow the Development Education work of Christian Aid within the formal and non-formal education sectors in the Republic of Ireland, and to promote and grow support for Christian Aid's key campaigns on international issues, across a wide range of arenas in the Republic of Ireland. The successful candidate will preferably have an educational sector qualification, a good knowledge of and commitment to work with the range of churches and church schools with which Christian Aid works, and experience of the campaigns and/or Dev Ed environment in the Republic of Ireland. Comhlamh seeks Project Officer (Maternity Cover): Based in Dublin, the successful applicant will be responsible for monitoring and supporting organisations in implementing the Code of Good Practice for Volunteer Sending Agencies and for leading the further development of this quality framework. Salary Scale: Appointment between approx. Point 1-4 on the Project Officer salary scale (currently €30K - €34.5). The post will report to the line manager and involve working as part of a team in the delivery of Comhlámh’s strategic and operational plans.
