About the Research Community
Mags Liddy is the coordinator of IDEA's research community. Her role involves planning and delivering workshops on research, leading skills-based trainings on research methods and updating members through this section of the website, on all matters related to DE research.
Past Research Community Events
Seminar on Participatory Action Research, 26th Nov
Participatory action research is a research process where the researcher identifies an issue in their work, explores solutions, prepares and implements an action plan, followed by reflection on the changes and effects brought about. Full report and presentations available
Demystifying Research workshops were aimed to introduce and clarify the language of research, and explore key concepts and research methods. The workshop documents and presentations are available here
