This resource portal, managed by 80:20, and contributed to by a number of organisations, contains a broad range of materials exploring a variety of development issues and topics such as genocide or fair trade that are discussed and debated, materials and ideas for teachers and educators, using cartoons and photographs in education, campaign actions such as on the Millennium Development Goals or Child Labour, plus a range of other materials including photo stories, Top 10s, annotated links and much, much more.

Resources for Schools

Trócaire's website contains many resources for teachers from early-years education to primary to post-primary.

Irish Aid have produced a resource for 5th and 6th classes that "encourages pupils to explore the meaning and importance of development in today’s world from a child’s perspective."

Resources for Non-Formal Education

The National Youth Council of Ireland's Development Education Programme produces resource packs for use with young people and also provides training for youth workers.

 

Lourdes Youth and Community Service (LYCS) have produced a resource pack that aims to embed global development issues into community education.

 

Mayfield Community Arts Centre produce a wide variety of resources about using public, participatory art techniques as tools for engaging young people in global learning.
