Where: St. Mary's University College, Falls Road, Belfast.

Who: Organised by St. Mary's U.C., the Centre for Global Education and IDEA.

As a second follow-up event from our Web 2.0 training last November, a training will take place in Belfast on the 3rd March 2010. (See report from Galway training 22nd Jan 2010 here)

This seminar will provide a practical, hands-on introduction to social media or Web 2.0.  It will enable participants to explore what social networking is all about and how it can be used in global education practice.  The seminar will consider what your organisation should be doing to get its message and presence out there through social networking.  The day will begin with an overview of social media and will provide plenty of time for participants to try out a selection of the popularthe tools for themselves. Computers will be provided for all participants.

Register with the Centre for Global Education by filling out the registration form (below) and emailing it to Stephen McCloskey: stephen[at]centreforglobaleducation.com. Places are on a "first-come first-served basis."
