UCD Development Studies Library is a research library of development related material. Access is free of charge to the public and members of the development sector. It was established by the Department of Foreign Affairs and University College Dublin in 1987 and was funded by Irish Aid up to 2010.

The Development Studies Library is located on the 3rd floor of the James Joyce Library in UCD. Our collection consists of over 6,000 books and subscriptions to a number of development journals and magazines. We also have an extensive electronic library. Users of DSL also have access to a meeting room and computer, printing and photocopying facilities
