IDEA is running a series of Development Education Conversations throughout 2016. These are informal evening sessions, providing the opportunity for anyone interested in Development Education to explore various aspects of Development Education theory and practice. Each conversation is led by a guest convenor, who will choose a theme and select an article for participants to read prior to the session.
The second session in our Development Education conversation series will be convened by Colm Regan on Development Education: where we've been and where we need to be. Colm, who is the co-founder of 80:20 Educating and Acting for a Better World and of developmenteducation.ie, has been a key thinker and activist for Development Education in Ireland for nearly 40 years. This event will take place on Wednesday, 4 May, 5:30 – 7:30 pm in the IDEA Office.
