This report on a workshop organised by the Centre for Global Education in September supports reflection and debate on how development educators engage the public on international development issues. The workshop posed the question ‘how effective are we as development educators and development practitioners in incorporating the action component into the planning and delivery of our work?’ The report contains workshop presentations, the outcomes of brainstorms and breakout groups, participant feedback and further reading.
