Comhlámh: Ireland - Development Ally or Tax Haven?

Comhlámh's next First Wednesday Debate, Ireland: Development Ally or Tax Haven?, hosted with Debt and Development Coalition Ireland (DDCI), will take place Wednesday 07 February, 7.00pm, Teacher's Club, Dublin 1. It will look at tax justice at a time when Ireland's tax practices are with regard to multinationals are coming under increasing scrutiny. As Ireland's development actors come together to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, is it time to ask whether by facilitating multinationals to reduce their tax payments, we undermine our development efforts?

Speakers include John Christensen from the Tax Justice Network UK, Mary Cosgrove (NUIG) and Maeve Bateman (DDCI).
