IDEA’s Good Governance Project 2014

Relevant Tags: No tags were found.

In 2013, IDEA ran a pilot project supporting 4 member organisations on their journey towards compliance with the Governance Code for Community and Voluntary Organisations.  In evaluating the pilot scheme, participants pointed to the benefits of having the support of peers who were working through the same issues, and also the helpfulness of the worked examples and policy templates provided by IDEA.  The good news is that IDEA is expanding the project next year to include up to 10 organisations.  If you are interested in participating, please contact Susan for further details.

And in the meantime, for organisations working on the governance section of Irish Aid Annual Grant applications --- lots of good advice and sample policies are available from The Wheel . You can also read through IDEA's own organisational policies here.
