Irish Aid have launched the 2021 Development Education Grants. Applicants can apply for one year or two year grants.
The call for proposals can be found at this link under the ‘Applying for Funding’ tab, it includes links to the Guidelines and FAQ documents. This link also includes information on DEAR co-funding.
There is also a press release on the Irish Aid website.
Key dates are included on the Irish Aid website, but here we highlight a couple of deadlines:
- 23 October, 5pm – deadline for submission of Eligibility Forms. This year, not all organisations have to fill in Eligibility Forms. “Organisations who have not received development education funding in the past, or if the organisation has not completed an eligibility form over the last 2 years (2019 and 2020 call for proposals) must complete an eligibility form.”
- 01 December, 5pm – deadline for completed applications. These need to be signed by the Chairperson or CEO or other legal representative of your organisation and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
- We have been informed that Irish Aid will hold a Public Information Session for the Development Education Grants on Wednesday 21 October at 10.30am via Zoom. Please register with email@example.com
As in previous years, IDEA will provide support for members and spaces for members to support one another through the Grants Clinic, focusing on the application form (3 Nov), and also a workshop on Results Frameworks (10 Nov). Full details on those events are available on our events calendar. Please register with firstname.lastname@example.org
