Workshop: Getting beyond the click - tackling fake news through human rights education

The Centre for Global Education is looking for an Administrative Officer to support delivery of a new schools’ project called the Global Learning Programme. This programme aims to deliver training in global learning to 50% of schools in Northern Ireland and strengthen the capacity of schools and teachers to help pupils learn about global justice issues such as poverty, inequality and sustainability.
The Centre is looking for a highly organised individual to provide administrative support to the GLP project staff that will contribute to the effective delivery of the project activities. This will involve carrying out administrative duties that will support promotions and communications to teachers and schools and the planning and organization of events, inputting data into databases and other general administrative tasks. The post is part-time (16 hours) and will have a timescale of two years from the date of appointment. The post will be located in the Centre for Global Education, Belfast.
Salary: £8,000 (plus NIC and Pension) (£17,500 pro rata)
Hours: 16 hours per week
