Plan Ireland: Sports for Disability Inclusion and Awareness Training

Plan International Ireland in collaboration with the CARA Centre and UNESCO/IT Tralee are facilitating a one day training on Saturday 12 December. This training will exam the perceptions of people with disabilities and barriers that may prevent their inclusion in society, from a local and global perspective. It will also offer practical games that are inclusive of people with disabilities that can be used in all Youth Clubs. If you are 18 years or older, a Youth Leader or Volunteer and with a Youth organisation this training should not be missed.

The event also marks International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2015: Inclusion matters: access and empowerment of people of all abilities.

Venue: Inchicore Community Sports Centre, Off Bulfin Road, St Michaels Estate, Dublin 8. Take the LUAS Red Line to Golden Bridge Stop or Dublin Bus No. 40 or 13.

Cost:  Free

Time: 10am-4.30pm

Lunch will be provided.
