We'd like to say a big thank you to our esteemed colleague Heidi Holden who will be leaving us later this month after 8 years with IDEA. Heidi's contribution to IDEA has been immense and she will be greatly missed by her colleagues and all our members that have been lucky enough to work with her and benefit from her support and insight. We wish her the very best on her new adventure!

NYCI: Become a No Hate Speech Youth Ambassador

The No Hate Speech Movement are looking for Youth Ambassadors aged 18-30. You can use your skills to tackle hate speech by giving presentations in schools, colleges and youth groups or become an activist online by joining our social media team. NYCI: Have your say on how to make Europe Diverse, Connected and Inclusive

The National Youth Council of Ireland and the Department of Children and Youth Affairs are inviting 15-30 year olds to a Youth consultation on 28 July as part of the European wide Structured Dialogue Cycle V theme 'Enabling all young people to engage in a diverse, connected and inclusive Europe'. Trócaire: Summer Outreach Development Education Workshops

This June and July Trocaire's Youth team is offering 2-3 hour global justice workshops to youth groups with a minimum of 15 young people aged 14 –25. Find out more...

NYCI: Certificate in Youth Arts 2016/2017 in Partnership with Maynooth University

The Certificate in Youth Arts is a part time programme of study in Irish Youth Arts Practice, with 6 modules covered over 12 contact days between October and June. It aims to introduce those working in the non-formal education sector to the concepts, principles and practice of youth arts using a context and practice approach. Centre for Global Education: Policy and Practice Issue 24 - Call for Contributors

The Centre for Global Education is calling for contributions to Issue 24 of its journal on Development Education, Policy and Practice: A Development Education Review.
