This week we have a reminder about our upcoming events, including the Action2015 Light the Way event in Dublin on 24 Sept, along with a request for data for our upcoming 'Snapshot of the Sector'. Light the way - Action2015
On 24 September, citizens around the world will be joining together in their countries and communities to #LightTheWay to a better future as leaders declare the Global Goals in New York. Data Gathering for Snapshot of the Sector
As part of our work on measuring the impact of Development Education, we are looking for data from members on your outputs, outcomes and indicators. Our aim is to create a snapshot of Development Education activity in Ireland today, to reflect the collective impact of Development Education, and to build an ‘indicator bank’ for members to draw on when formulating their own Results Frameworks. We will be contacting you soon about this project and hope all IDEA members will participate.
Also, as part of our work on measuring the impact of Development Education, IDEA is working with Comhlámh and Dóchas to host a set of two participatory workshops on Monitoring in Development and in Development Education on Tuesday 6 October and Thursday 8 October. Find out more...

The World's Largest Lesson is a global event to teach the whole world about the global goals for sustainable development the week after they have been signed, by world leaders.
