Support for IDEA members re Irish Aid Annual Grants Round

With the Irish Aid Annual Grants call opening in early October, IDEA is running a number of events to support our members. We will be holding a workshop on Strengthening the ‘Results’ element in DE project planning and bid-writing  on Tuesday 13 October, 10:00 – 1:00pm   at the IDEA office . On Tuesday 20 October, 11:30 – 12:30pm  we will be holding a webinar that will guide you through the Annual Grants application form, section by section. On Tuesday 27 October 3:00 – 4:00 pm we will hold a webinar concentrating specifically on governance issues within the application form. And finally on  Tuesday 3 November, 1:30 – 4:30 pm at the IDEA office , we will hold a clinic for applicants to get together with IDEA staff to discuss specific questions arising from the application form. 

The Results Workshop costs €25 for members and €50 for non-members. Concessions are available for members. The webinar and application clinic are free but are open to IDEA members only.  For more information and to register, please contact Susan@ideaonline.ie.

IDEA invites tender submissions from interested auditing service suppliers to provide auditing and associated professional services to the organisation from the year ending 31 December 2025. IDEA is seeking to engage an experienced auditing service firm that will provide the full range of auditing services required to fulfil its statutory obligations, to comply with relevant accounting and reporting standards and best practice. IDEA is looking for a video production company/ animator for an upcoming video project. We have funding available to create a short animated educational video resource for members as part of The Code of Good Practice. The video will help viewers understand what quality GCE is and why it matters in the world today. The intended audience for the video are people who are connected to the Code of Good Practice and GCE in their work but not yet very familiar with it e.g. non-GCE staff in member organisations, board members of member organisations, teachers, youth workers, European partners, new members to the Code and new staff to IDEA member organisations. Please submit your CV and a short letter of interest outlining a proposal for the video (including the number of days you envisage and the fee) to code@ideaonline.ie.
