Comhlámh Coming Home Weekend:  This residential weekends are a chance to carve out that space to reflect on the time spent overseas, to explore the transition of coming back home and to have the chance to debate, share and hear from others as well as get to know what is happening in Ireland in the development, community and activist scene. Venue:  Stella Maris Retreat Centre in Howth, Co. Dublin
Cost: The fee for the weekend is €50 and includes all meals and overnight accommodation, all facilitation by experienced returned development workers and an optional social gathering on Saturday night. 

Comhlamh Trade Justice Course, – Starting Oct 23rd in the Comhlámh Office, 12 Parliament St, Dublin 2.  There are still places available on this 6 week evening courses which aims to get you up to speed on some of the key issues, perspectives and debate around trade and the developing world, and reassure you that you don’t need a degree in economics to have an opinion on these issues!. In June, a delegation from our Erasmus+ partner organisation LAPAS (Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation) visited Dublin for a two-day learning and exchange visit hosted by IDEA. The visit was part of an ongoing collaboration with LAPAS to strengthen quality global citizenship education (GCE) in Ireland and Latvia, using the IDEA Code of Good Practice as a framework.
