Impact of Development Education
Development Education practitioners engage with hundreds of thousands of people of all ages and communities throughout Ireland each year.
In 2021/2022 alone the Development Education programmes funded by Irish Aid engaged 319,634 learners through seminars, project work for awards, accredited training courses, film festivals, peer learning, cultural events and field work. 80% of learners surveyed reported that their attitude or behaviour had been influenced as a result of participating in Development Education.
