IDEA will host an Advocacy Workshop for our members on Wednesday 07 February from 10.30am -12.30pm Online via Zoom.

This will focus on an Advocacy Toolkit, along with guidance on engaging with policy processes, that is currently being developed. The aim is to better support the Global Citizenship Education advocacy work of the sector. The draft structure and outline of the Advocacy Toolkit will be shared with you at the workshop and your feedback is welcome, to ensure that it will be relevant and useful to your work. Key observations from a recent Advocacy Survey conducted with IDEA members better inform and shape the toolkit content will also be discussed.

The workshop will be a great opportunity to jointly identify shared learning around positive and negative experiences of Global Citizenship Education advocacy and resources, to discuss challenges you may face in engaging in advocacy initiatives, to share good practice, and to identify future collaborative advocacy opportunities.
