Children in Crossfire: Active Citizenship Training
Children in Crossfire are running an Active Citizenship Training Opportunity for Youth, Adult and Community Sectors on Friday, 17 November, 10.00am-4.00pm, Letterkenny Public Service Centre.
The programme, VISION 2030, aims to support the development of trainers to build on their knowledge, confidence and skills to facilitate groups in Global Development issues. It has a key focus on building awareness and understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through taking part in this programme you will receive:
- In depth training on approaches for engaging groups in local and global issues
- New and innovative tools and methods for implementing participant-led programmes
- Opportunities to share knowledge and ideas, and share partnerships with other groups
- Support and guidance to implement SDG related action projects with your groups
VISION 2030 is core funded by Irish Aid, and is complimentary to Development Education approaches.
