Start Date: 07/04/2020 End Date: 07/04/2020

Event Location: Zoom

In the second of our series of online sessions on delivering Development Education virtually, we will be looking at Hosting Development Education Sessions in the online space.

When:   Wednesday 8 April from 10.00am – 11.30am GMT via Zoom.

What to expect:  In this interactive session you will explore key aspects when facilitating online; from participant engagement, to creating personal connection, to having a (tech-)buddy and a variety of other methods to result in highly effective online facilitation.

About the trainer:  Charo Lanao-Madden is a highly experienced trainer and coach based in Northern Ireland and working with people and communities in 15 countries around the world, regularly using online tools. Charo uses theoretical models and research and delivers training, facilitation or coaching in such a way that participants are fully engaged with their own experiences and emotions. Charo balances experiential learning with reflective practice, and tailors training by listening to what is happening in real time.

Cost: This training is free of charge. It is open to IDEA members only.  It will be recorded and shared after the event.

Register below by Tuesday 7 April. The Zoom link to sign-in to the webinar will be shared by 7 April with all registered participants. If you have any questions or if you can’t attend and want to receive the recording contact elaine@ideaonline.ie.
