Webinar: Digital Global Citizenship

Eimear Green • Mar 28, 2018

What are the challenges posed to educators and learning groups in ‘grappling’ with social and digital media as established places where learning takes place (made more difficult by the ‘post-truth’ agenda)?

How can learners break past ‘clicktivism’ and use digital tools for exploring positive change in the world?

In conjunction with IDEA, this webinar aims to open a wide-ranging discussion on exploring the promise, prospects and potential for digital global citizenship, led by Tony Daly and Colm Regan from 80:20 Educating and Acting for a Better World as part of developing a new toolkit for educators.  The webinar will take place Thursday 29 March, 3.00-3.45pm .

To join the webinar, contact  tony@8020.ie by 1.00pm on Thursday 29 April and you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for joining the meeting.
