Austerity Workshop for Development Education Practitioners

IDEA’s Community Sector Working Group is running an Austerity Workshop on Thursday 3 December at the IDEA offices, from 10:00 (coffee and registration at 9:30) until 1:00. The workshop will:
- Engage you as Development Education practitioners and activists in austerity issues relating to the Irish context
- Connect local and global debt issues
- Provide you with some tools with which translate your learning into your local context
The workshop is suitable for anyone engaged in any level of development education and wishes to know more about the connectedness of local and global debt issues. The workshop is FREE but you need to register in advance with susan@ideaonline.ie so that we have a sense of numbers. A light lunch will be provided after the workshop.
