Consultant: Code of Good Practice for Development Education in Ireland

IDEA is hiring a consultant to roll out the next phase of our work around a Code of Good Practice for Development Education in Ireland.

Following the development of a draft ‘Code of Good Practice for Development Education’ in Ireland in 2017 by a group of 13 IDEA members, the Code’s Core Principles and Indicators were piloted by a group of 6 IDEA members in 2018.

IDEA now requires a consultant to move the work around the Code from the pilot phase to using the Code within the IDEA membership. This will involve introducing and promoting the Code within the wider IDEA membership, and developing mechanisms to support the implementation and review processes of the Code.

Deadline for applications is midday, Friday, 14 June.
