Conversation Circle 3: We’re All Activists Now!

Start Date: 05/12/2017 End Date: 05/12/2017

Event Location: IDEA Office, 6 Gardiner Row, Dublin 1

Following on from our Annual Conference this year on Global Citizenship in a Time of Isolationism, our final conversation circle of 2017 will examine the opportunities and need for activism in the current climate. The conversation will be led by Tony Daly of 80:20 Educating and Acting for a Better World, with input from Tom Roche of Just Forests – a long-standing member of IDEA that ceased trading in September 2017. This session will allow the sector to celebrate and learn from Just Forests' 28 years of activism in education, as well as exploring how change happens and the role of education in bringing it about.

Join us 1.00-2.30pm, Tuesday, 05 December for the final event in the IDEA calendar for 2017 to discuss the role for Development Education in Activism.

Lunch will be provided.
