Online Global Citizenship Education Impact Measurement meeting (2023 Workshop Follow-up)

Date: Wednesday, 13 March 10.00am – 12.00noon

Location: Online via Zoom

We are delighted to invite participants to our next meeting on the topic of Global Citizenship Education Impact Measurement in Ireland. This meeting will pick up on the discussions started at our previous workshop on Exploring Impact Measurement in Global Citizenship Education held on 19 October last year.

In that context, we would appreciate if anyone interested in joining us could take a moment to go through the 'GCE Impact Measurement Desk Review' and '2023 Workshop Harvest Document'. Please reach out to anya@ideonline.ie if you don’t receive a copy of these documents within 24 hours after registering.

The Harvest Document captures highlights and outcomes of the last event. These were collected in various members and staff notes and by our graphic harvester. Members who could not attend the event in October are still most welcome to join the meeting on Wednesday13 March.

This event will take the form of a meeting, with a moderator and note taker to ensure the main points of discussion are captured and can inform the next meeting’s agenda. Using the momentum of shared interest generated in October, the meeting will explore suggestions that came out of the 2023 workshop. We will also talk about the challenges, opportunities and considerations that were raised at that workshop, as captured in the '2023 Workshop Harvest Document'. Finally, this will also be an opportunity to collect feedback and thoughts on the 'GCE Impact Measurement Desk Review'.

Note: This event is not suitable for members looking for training or an introduction to existing GCE Impact Measurement and Monitoring and Evaluation tools. A separate Practice Exchange on these tools will be organised in May and further information will follow.
