IDEA launched its new Advocacy Toolkit and GCE Policy Guide resource pack in early March. The advocacy toolkit and policy guide were developed for IDEA members to strengthen their capacity to effectively advocate with policymakers and to actively engage in policy processes on GCE in Ireland and the wider world.

IDEA will facilitate a full-day in-person workshop for our members on these resources in the IDEA offices on Tuesday, 02 December ,10.30am – 4.30pm. Places are limited to 15 participants and are filling up fast.

Now that Vision 2030 has been launched, this will be an opportunity for participants to conduct stakeholder mapping and to develop advocacy messages for policy priorities in Vision 2030 that are relevant to the educational setting they work in. This is a repeat of the workshop that took place in May, but participants in that workshop might find this useful as well.

A vegetarian lunch will be provided.
