NYCI: Certificate in Youth Arts 2016/2017

The Certificate in Youth Arts is a part time programme of study in Irish Youth Arts Practice, with 6 modules covered over 12 contact days between October and June 2016/2017.

The programme is a partnership initiative of Maynooth University and the National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI) Arts Programme and leads to an award of the National University of Ireland, placed at Level 7 on the National Qualifications Framework.

The Certificate aims to introduce those working in the non-formal education sector to the concepts, principles and practice of youth arts using a context and practice approach.

IDEA is seeking a consultant to support its team in organising the Annual Conference and 20th Anniversary on Wednesday 04 September. This will include support in various areas as described in the Terms of References. The IDEA annual conference is a core part of our work and has been held annually for over a decade. More information on all previous conferences is available on our website and specifically here for 2023 and here for 2022 . This year the theme focuses on the impact of GCE in Ireland and we will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of IDEA. Please submit your CV highlighting relevant experience, referees for similar work, and a brief proposed plan/methodology.
