This workshop will explore the idea of sustainable communities in the context of a Development Education group or practitioner working at a global level and a local level. It will provide an opportunity to learn about what other community groups are doing in this area and focus on practical ways you can integrate the idea of Sustainable Communities into your Development Education work. It will also examine this in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The workshop will be facilitated by Johnny Sheehan, The Wheel, and will run from 10.00am – 1.00pm, Tuesday, 28 May, in the IDEA Office, 6 Gardiner Row, Dublin 1.
