Continuing the theme of Fashion Revolution Week, IDEA is hosting a conversation circle on Ethics and Fashion, Tuesday, 08 May, 12:30-2:00pm in the IDEA Office. This will be led by Rosie O'Reilly, Creative Director of Re-dress, and Maeve Galvin, Co-ordinator of Bridge 47: Building Global Citizenship.

Rosie is Creative Director of Re-dress, a not-for-profit that seeks to develop a national awareness of the detrimental environmental and social impacts of the fashion industry. Re-Dress founded the Irish Better Fashion Week and the Irish branch of the Clean Clothes Campaign. They've also created the Better Fashion Schools Project to educate students and teachers about the implications of fast-fashion. Rosie is also the designer of the ethical fashion label, We Are Islanders. Maeve is currently the Co-ordinator of the Bridge 47: Building Global Citizenship project and has previously worked as Programme Advisor with the International Labour Organisation in Cambodia and Geneva and as Programme Manager with the C&A Foundation in Myanmar and Bangladesh.
