Cultivate: ERASMUS+ Training on ”Volunteering in Eco-Villages”

Cultivate is looking for 3 or 4 people to take part in a 4 day training course: ERASMUS+ project ''Volunteering in Eco-Villages'' 08 – 12 October, Cloughjordan, Co Tipperary.

This training and networking event teaches participants how to create successful volunteering projects with young international volunteers, and will be beneficial to you or your staff if you or your organisation are currently involved in, or have a clear intention to start international volunteering projects.

The participants are from 10 different countries, and all work in the field of education for sustainable development and are connected to the ecovillage movement ,making this a fantastic networking opportunity.

The facilitators of the training have several years of experience with EVS and other volunteering schemes, and participants will benefit from the sharing of experiences how the volunteers can be integrated into ecovillage life and how practicalities can be dealt with.

These are funded places and all transport and subsistence costs are also covered through the project grant.

IDEA is looking for a video production company/ animator for an upcoming video project. We have funding available to create a short animated educational video resource for members as part of The Code of Good Practice. The video will help viewers understand what quality GCE is and why it matters in the world today. The intended audience for the video are people who are connected to the Code of Good Practice and GCE in their work but not yet very familiar with it e.g. non-GCE staff in member organisations, board members of member organisations, teachers, youth workers, European partners, new members to the Code and new staff to IDEA member organisations. Please submit your CV and a short letter of interest outlining a proposal for the video (including the number of days you envisage and the fee) to code@ideaonline.ie.
