LYCS: Global Development Course

Lourdes Youth and Community Services is running The Bigger Picture – a Global Development Course, starting 11 October. It invites you to consider how issues such as runaway inequality, poverty, climate change, hunger and conflict can be addressed and how a more equal and sustainable world can be achieved. It also involves exploring and questioning what development is, how we measure it, and what are some of the root causes of the many development challenges facing the world today.

This course offers the opportunity to complete a QQI Level 6 Minor Certificate in Global Development.

It will take place in Dublin City Centre on the following dates: October 11 and 12, October 25, November 8, November 22 and 23

To register, contact Helena Mc Neill at deved@lycs.ie or 01 8230860, or download an application form here.

Closing date for applications is 14 September.
