Join us for a Master Class with John Simmons on Communicating Development Education to External Audiences, Wednesday, 12 September, 9.30am – 4.30pm in the IDEA Office.

John is a former Director of Global Brand Consultancy Interbrand and has written many books on creative writing for business. He has led brand programmes with companies as diverse as Guinness, AIB, Marks & Spencer, Waterstones, Royal Mail, and the National Theatre. John is also a founding director of 26, a non-profit organisation aimed at spreading ideas about the joy of language and good writing, and getting the wider world to have a better appreciation of words and language in everyday use.

In this workshop, he will take you through a series of exercises designed to help you communicate what you and your organisation do in a clear, concise, engaging way. The aim is to give you the tools and confidence to communicate your work effectively to external audiences, both in your writing and when talking to others.

This workshop is particularly relevant for if you are interested in taking part in the Bridge 47 Project partnership work, or if you want to feel more confident about communicating your work to those outside of the sector.

This workshop is only open to IDEA members, and places are strictly limited. Cost is €40 .
